ABOUT THE CAMA COLLECTION

The Cama Collection, LLC, aims to address pressing issues and fill the gaps needed to fully develop interior environments that support health and wellbeing. Each collection is crafted with hand picked artisans, manufacturers and publishers that share our values and goals. Through the sales and marketing of each partner these tools and products are available to all design teams sharing insights with 40-years of wisdom.

The Cama Collection first partnered with IOA Healthcare Furniture in 2015 to develop the Cama Bed Chair, the first in the series of the IOA Healing Touch Collection. Industry response was award winning, gaining recognition as the Best in the Healthcare Design’s 2016 Nightingale Competition and Interior Design’s BOY (Best of Year) Award.  Since then our collection/ its awards have grown, and our partnerships have expanded to include more than furnishings.

LDI and Skyline Designs have allowed us to think further about the bettering the hospitalization experience considering safety, care, dignity and beauty.  In each product exploration the team within CAMA’s Design Lab takes deep dives with our partners and the industry leaders looking at wicked problems that seek best practices and evidence-baseline findings.  The process allows us to hypothesize a better/ best solution through the ingenuity and expertise of our collective group brain prototyping and delivering evidence-based products.   We don’t stop there, we educate the industry and each sales team that is it less about the transaction of the sale of the goods and more about the transformation of the user experience.

Understanding the intersection of health and wellbeing through the design of the built environment is achieved through the Collection’s relationship with CAMA Inc., a health and wellness Interior Design Studio and Lab, which designs interiors that enable all people to live a happier, healthier life indoors see: www.camainc.com.  The Collection aims to serve unmet needs, seeking new design interventions that nudge participants toward wellbeing in any environment .
